Gorgeous Handmade Bay Pottery Centerpiece / Serving Bowl in lovely soft green and blue drip glaze, in pristine condition, and signed on bottom. Measures 12.5 diameter and 5.5 deep.
Bay Pottery is a family owned business located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, tucked away among the Blue Ridge Mountains. The company was founded by Joe and Rheba McMichael in the late 70's in the Chesapeake Bay area (hence the name "Bay" Pottery). It began with Rheba throwing pottery in the basement and her husband Joe delicately hand-painting each piece. Much has changed since then, but not the dedication to the craft.
