This Wedgewood covered dish is in very good vintage condition with no cracks, crazing, or previous repairs. Please review all photos before purchasing. The item in the photos is the actual Wedgewood covered dish being sold.
This is a beautiful tone-on-tone cream embossed trinket box from Wedgwood, produced in the 1960s. It has versatility in its use, it can either serve as a vanity accessory for your vanity table, or as a trinket dish, or a candy dish, or even a powder box. The pieces have a shiny finish inside and out. The bottom is incised with "Wedgwood Made in England". The raised design features grapes, leaves, and a vine. The vine pattern was cut by hand and placed upon the clay before it was baked. The artist would have discarded any mistakes. Wedgewood artisans took pride in their workmanship and in creating quality pieces.
