This amazing carpet bag is from a Vermont
artist estate who traveled to the Middle East
in the 1960s and returned with many items.
We don't have exact information on this hand
knotted rug but it is folded and sewn together
to create a saddle bag with a loop on the top of
each side. You could add a pillow insert for
a pillow, hang on a wall for storage or just
hang on a wall for decoration. Measures 19"
long and 16" wide the loops are 3" above
the side seams. Fabulous colors of bright
orange, yellow and green in an abstract
design. Overall very good condition no
stains or holes but there are loose fibers
on the sides (which I would just cut but we
leave that to the new owner). Sale supports
