Vintage Hubert Herr Cuckoo Clock West Germany Black Forest 1971 11"x8"

This is a charming vintage mechanical cuckoo clock handcrafted in Triberg, West Germany by renowned maker Hubert Herr. Featuring traditional Black Forest-style carvings, this clock has two detailed wooden leaves and a beautifully sculpted bird at the base — complete with a jewel-like red eye that adds a striking touch of character.

The front door opens to reveal the cuckoo bird, which pops out and chirps on the hour. I tested the cuckoo manually and both the mechanism and sound work great when triggered by hand. The interior brass movement looks clean and well-maintained.

Please note:

• The hour hand spins freely, likely needing adjustment or tightening.

• Chains are present, but currently not moving — could be a simple fix, but I'm not familiar enough with the mechanics to say for sure.
