The Telechron 4H97 (The Forum) was made between 1939 and 1944. It features a larger square dial than most clocks of its era. Detailed wood case is offset by cream and brown dial, brass hands and bezel, and dark brown numbers on metal dial plate. This clock is keeping accurate time and has no glass chips or frayed cord. The case is in fairly good shape with one repaired crack on the rear side. Brass feet are stable and secure. Red dot (power failure) feature functions properly and the movement rotor is very quiet! Overall, the clock is 8" wide and 8" tall (slightly taller with feet), and 2 1/2" deep.

This is a great vintage addition to any home decor and a rather uncommonly found example of the refined Art Deco style of the era.
