The Sawdust Doll (2) by Kay. One doll has two faces with a dress on and matching bonnet, the other doll is a baby wrapped in a baby quilt. Approximate size: 5" in length and 3" wide.
As the tag reads "Time 1850, unable to buy a commercial doll, mother sat down and the cloth doll was woven with its own personality from various scraps, buttons and laces. They didn't walk, talk or cry, and their eyes remained still but their simplicity would steal the imagination and captivate a heart for a lifetime. Their limp bodies are now in museums and proud homes as decorative items. I've custom-made each doll, and almost completely by hand. (Ending with) Kay"
