This listing is for a pair of adorable turned wood Japanese kokeshi dolls. These lovely pieces with hand painted surface designs are stylized and quite simple, and have a great retro vintage feel to them. The heads on both pieces move/turn. The dolls are in good, but not pristine vintage condition. The is some slight surface wear, mostly on the varnish, not painting. The larger doll measures roughly 5 1/4" in height and 1 3/4" in diameter at its widest, the smaller one is 4 1/8" in height and 1 5/8" in diameter (head).
