Uncle Mistletoe - Vintage - Little Golden Book #175 "A" Edition - 1953

This is a very nice copy of Uncle Mistletoe, a Little Golden Book published in 1953. This is an "A" printing as evidenced by the letter A at the bottom of the last page near the spine. The foil is present, but worn. There is some edge wear and some bumping to the corners of the cover. Inside the front cover, there is a sentiment written inside the "This Little Golden Book belongs to" box (see photo). There is no other writing in the book. There is a very tiny tear/fold on the first page. Other than a "speck" here and there, there are no other markings in the book. The story is by Jane Werner, based on an advertising character used by the Marshall's stores back in the day. The illustrations were done by Corinne Malvern.
