Second edition hardcover copy of The Alpha Strategy: The Ultimate Plan of Financial Self-Defense by John A. Pugsley (Stratford Press, 1981). Infamous and hard to find early edition of this personal financial advice book. Jacket is protected in new (removable) archival sleeve but with some rubbing/scuffing to faces (especially top half of front cover), crease along spine and shelf wear around the edges, inclining chipping, creasing and small tears. Boards slightly curved and with corners bumped. Binding is firm though spine is slightly cocked. Blacked-out previous owner’s name written on front endpaper and some soiling to outer edges of text block, otherwise pages are clean and unmarked. See photos for condition.
