Beautiful Art Deco style & era Weller art pottery:
- Large oval console bowl/platter, Iris pattern from Ardsley line, ca. 1920-1927
- Incised ceramic w/matte green glaze (& purple irises on ends/handles)
- Approx. 14.5” L x 8.75” W x 2.5” H
- Marked w/partial half-kiln ink stamp on bottom
- Also appears to have some faded script writing on bottom that I can’t make out; not sure what it is or why it’s there, but it doesn’t affect piece’s aesthetic or function
- Very good used, early vintage shape w/no cracks, chips or other damage I can see or feel; some mild crazing, as expected for age; 2 small “pockmark”/glaze skip spots (from production & not damage)
- BUT I’m not store/expert so please examine photos as item’s best representations & description to determine design, age, size, colors (appearance of which vary by screen/monitor & lighting) & condition by your standards & ask any questions you may have prior to purchase
