Collectible rare vintage “Vegetable Themed Lidded Pot & Sugar Bowl” circa 1970's or earlier
The placement of the flowers depicts owls and their bodies have assorted vegetables such as eggplant peppers, tomatoes and Napa cabbage. I'm guessing circa 70's when kitsch was the in thing to own--colors are still vibrant and eye-catching!
These set have their flaws as indicated in the 2nd, 4th, 6th and 7th photos with arrows. These flaws were production flaws and time worn ones. But--the previous owners have lovingly restored 1 major flaw (the rim of the pot's lid).
The interiors are super clean. These are kitschy and cute--maybe to add to an owl or retro kitsch collection!
Pot with Lid—8 ¼” tall x 6 ½” wide; Lidded Sugar Bowl is 4 ½” tall x 4” wide.
This OOAK Collectible is very unique and vintage and is in impressive condition, that has been kept in my home (smoke-free and pet-free).
