An antique Shibayama or Sakazuki Maki-e lacquerware bowls with real 24k gilt hand painting and mother of pearl inlay, once used to serve sweets and other ceremonial dishes. These bowls were made during the mid to late Meiji period, circa 1880 to 1980, and were acquired from a fine estate. These bowls are in near mint condition considering their age and feature scenes of old Edo/Japan as well as depictions of Mount Fuji. Amazing for all things Chinoiserie Chic, Grand Millennial, Preppy and more! These make for great decorative items as well as for a unique housewarming gift. STAND(S) NOR ADDITIONAL PROPS ARE INCLUDED AND ARE FOR STAGING PURPOSES.
